This is how I pictured St. Jacobs, Ontario in the 1950’s.
The building with the gas pump is where Home Hardware began.
This painting was presented to the founder of Home Hardware.
I imagined him sweeping the front of the general store where he worked as a young lad before it became Home Hardware.

Spain
Some years back we went to Spain, actually to the Costa del Sol region.
This is one of the paintings I did. I have it hanging in my home.
New Painting
You can see from the photo how I zeroed in to the clump of trees in the background.
I painted a quicky 8×10 using acrylic paint.
Winter Solitude
I almost added horse and buggies to this painting until a couple of customers in our gallery voiced that it reminded them of different areas familiar to them, so I left them out. Great feedback, eh?
